Marble Cake

Serving Size: 10

1/2 cup butter, softened
1.5 cup sugar
1.5 cups all purpose flour
2tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4tsp salt
1/4tsp cream of tartar
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate grated
1/2tsp cinnamon powder
1/4tsp vanilla extract

Preparation Methods:

Preheat oven to 350°C. Grease 9-inch cake pan;dust pan with flour. In a large bowl cream the butter;gradually adding the sugar and finally the eggs one by one.Stir all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl;alternately add flour mixture and milk to butter mixture. Place a third of the batter in a another bowl;stir in grated chocolate ,cinnamon and vanilla essence.

Alternately pour layers of white and chocolate batters into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes and cool in pan on wire for 10 minutes. then turn out onto rack and cool completely before frosting as desired.
