Ingredients
Serving Size: Abt 15 pieces
Spice Mixture:
a sprig curry leaves
3 cloves garlic
1tsp cumin seeds
2 dried chillies
1 inch ginger root
Place all the ingredient in a blender and add 1tbsp water and grind to a very smooth paste.
1 cup dosa batter
1 cup ragi flour
salt to taste
Preparation Methods:
Place the ragi flour in a large bowl and add just enough water and mix to get a smooth batter.Combine both the batter with the spice mixture. Leave the batter aside for few hours before preparing the iddlies.Grease the iddly plate with a bit of ghee and pour a big spoonful of the batter.Steam cook for 15-20 minutes till they are done..Always let the idlly to cool for few minutes before you take them out. They will be soft and fluffy.
