Salmon is the common name for several species of fish of the family Salmonida.Salmon live in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Great Lake.They are born in fresh water, migrate to the ocean, then return to fresh water to reproduce. Salmon is a popular food. Consuming salmon is considered to be healthy due to the fish's high protein, high Omega-3 fatty acids, and high vitamin D[8] content. Salmon is also a source of cholesterol, ranging 23–214 mg/100g depending on the species.
My of my friends used to make fish curry using Salmon fish.I was afraid of using them as I wasn't sure how my hubby would react to the taste..I normally eat a few when I go for Chinese Buffets but find them very fishy. I was browsing my friend Dan's orkut phot gallery of her cooking snaps-came across her Salmon fish fry and decide to give a shot. For the first I prepare it and the taste was so good...the creidt of course to my dear friend Danalakshmi only for letting me know that Salmon taste good as any other fish..

Serving Size: 4

1lb Salmon fillets cut into thick strips
1/2tsp tumeric powder
1tbsp chillie powder
1/2tsp garam masala
1tbsp fish curry powder
juice of half lemon
salt and pepper for taste

Preparation Methods:
Rub the Salmon fillets with 1tsp of salt and let it stand for 10 minutes and risen. Pat dry and all the ingrdients into a large bowl with the fillets. Marinte overnight. Heat a heavy bottomed wok with oil on medium flame and once heat deep fry them until golden brown and transfer to a seving platter with chopped coriander leaves and lemon wedges.
