Today I was making a cup of steaming cup in the morning when suddenly I thought "how would it be if I had Thayir Vadai now" mouth-watering snack..vadai soaked in curd garnished with carrots, coriander leaves or even kara boondhi ( snack made with besen flour )... got it what to prepare for snack when my son comes back from school today..I remember my first time tasting curd vadai in my hometown Namakkal -my uncle brought them for evening snack...wow yummy..can feel the taste in my tongue still..soft vadai with lots of onions soaked in curd. Use home made curd for this recipe and if you are using store brought yogurt-add couple spoons of lime juice to get the sour taste....so share my memories with my crispy yummy curd vadai .

Ingredients

1 cup ural daal
1 cup toor daal
2 cups thick curd
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 cup finely chopped onions
2tbsp shredded carrots

Ingredients

1lb cooked angel hair pasta
1 cup diced chicken breast
1tsp finely minced ginger
1tsp finely minced garlic
½ cup chopped onions
¼ cup diced carrot
¼ cup chopped chinese cabbage
¼ cup diced tofu
2tbsp soy sauce
2tbsp pepper powder
2tbsp crushed chillie flasks
½ cup hot water or stock (optional)

Ingredients for soup base

1 large yellow onion rough chopped
1tsp salt
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp pepper powder
1tbsp Mrs. Dash seasoning blend
2 cups of water
In a large sauce pan boil the above mention ingredients for 5 minutes and blend to a smooth mixture once cooled. Keep aside.

Preparation Methods:
Coat a large non-stick wok with 2tbsp oil and add the chillie flask minced ginger and garlic. Let it sauté well in the oil. Then add the chopped onions-fry till it becomes translucent.
