Sambar is one of the famous daily household item in most Indian home..There are various way of preparing samber and goes well with steam rice,iddly,dosai even vadai too.The main ingredient in preparing this recipe is toor daal and tamarind pulp. I'm preparing Sambar with Mullangi which is also known as white raddish....

Mullangi (White Raddish) Sambar-Type 1
Serving Size:5
1 cup of chopped mullangi
1 cup toor daal
4 garlic crushed
1 large onion chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
2 whole chillies
4 curry leaves
1/2 cup of tamarind pulp
2tbsp of sambar powder
1/4tsp of chillie powder
1/4tsp of turmeric powder
1tsp of hing powder
1tsp of cumin seeds
1/2tsp of cumin seeds
Chopped coriander leaves
1/4tsp of castor oil
Salt to taste

Mashed Egg Sandwich

This morning I wake up late was thinking of what to make for breakfast for my son something fast. My son like egg so I came up with this recipe within a few seconds...instead of have jelly peanut bread

Mashed Egg Sandwich


2slice of white bread
1 hard boil egg
2tbsp of fine chopped lettuce leaves
1tbsp of finely chopped tomatoes
1 cheese slice
1tsp of pepper powder
2tbsp of ranch sauce
1/4tsp garlic powder
1/4tsp of salt

Preparation Methods:
In a large bowl blend in all the seasoning ingredients together with the egg expect the cheese slice ,to very smooth mixture. Spread some butter on the slice of bread. Place the cheese slice on the bread and scope 2tbsp of the egg mixture and spread evenly ...Cut the bread into diagonally shape and serve with tomato ketchup..

Pan Fried Tilapia

Normally I don't like to eat fish at all especially fish curry but I love to eat fried fish or Chinese style prepared fish..this is one of my hubby's favorite fish fry with very little oil used..I use tilapia fish but you use the fish of your choice too..The usage of oil in this recipe is only 2tbsp..

Pan Fried Tiliapia


1/2lb Tilapia Fish
1/2tsp salt
1/2tsp turmeric powder
1tbsp Sakthi ish curry powder
1tbsp of curd
2tbsp of lemon juice
1/4tsp of pepper powder
1/4tsp of garlic powder

Preparation Method
In a large bowl, add all seasoning ingredient and coat the fish well. Let the fish marinate overnight...the taste will be good if leave overnight. Or you could marinate it for 3 hours.Coat a frying tava with 2tbsp of olive oil....Fry the fish until the both side golden brown.
